Foreign company looking for an English speaking accountant.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, profit and loss statements and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and compliance with reporting and procedural standards.
- Report organization's finances to management and offer suggestions about resource utilization, tax strategies and assumptions underlying budget forecasts.
- Find out the cause of losses and source of non-productive expenses and make recommendations to eliminate those.
- Make timely tax and government levy payments, social insurance allocations, allocation of financial funds dedicated to salaries of employees and other relevant payments.
- Track and perform accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
- Maintain records and receipts for all daily transactions.
- Provide Finance & Accounting Manager with the most adequate level of accruals for each closing.
- Represent company at the taxing authorities and provides support in the case of litigation involving financial issues.
- Act as a key point of contact for other departments on financial and accounting matters.
- Follow instructions of the immediate Supervisor on all kind of the matters related to the main purpose and duties of the Accounting function.
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or economics.
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CMA) certification is a benefit;
- MBA is a benefit.
- Prior experience in cost analysis, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, local taxation.
- Proficiency in Uzbek, English and Russian languages.
Excellent computer skills including MS Office.
- Proficiency in SAP.

- Ability to understand and evaluate cash flow scenarios, financial statements, profit and loss statements and other financial reports.
- Must demonstrate analytical approach to work and solid analytical skills.
