Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning and Design Review:

   • Review and interpret civil engineering drawings, specifications, and design documents.

   • Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that civil infrastructure designs meet project requirements.

   • Provide input during the design phase to optimize construction methods and materials.

2. Site Preparation and Earthworks:

   • Oversee site preparation activities, including land clearing, grading, and excavation.

   • Ensure proper drainage systems are designed and implemented to prevent water accumulation and flooding.

   • Manage soil testing and geotechnical investigations to ensure the site is suitable for construction.

3. Infrastructure Construction:

   • Supervise the construction of civil infrastructure, including foundations, slabs, roads, parking areas, and utility trenches.

   • Ensure that all civil works are executed in accordance with project specifications, codes, and standards.

   • Monitor the quality of materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with project requirements.

4. Utility Systems:

   • Oversee the installation of underground utilities, including water supply, sewage, stormwater drainage, and electrical conduits.

   • Coordinate with utility providers to ensure timely and accurate installation of services.

   • Ensure that utility systems are integrated seamlessly with the overall data center infrastructure.

5. Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance:

   • Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.

   • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including environmental and building codes.

   • Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments.

6. Project Management and Coordination:

   • Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, contractors, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.

   • Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions as needed.

   • Prepare and submit regular progress reports to the Project Manager.

7. Quality Assurance and Control:

   • Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure that all civil works meet the required standards.

   • Address any non-conformities and ensure that corrective actions are implemented promptly.

   • Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and approvals.

8. Documentation and Reporting:

   • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and as-built records.

   • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.

   • Document any changes or deviations from the original plan and ensure proper approval processes are followed.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.

• Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on large-scale construction projects, preferably data centers or similar facilities.

• Licenses/Certifications: Relevant certifications in construction management or safety (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH, PMP, ISO 9001, ISO 14001) are a plus.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in civil engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, STAAD.Pro) and project management tools (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).

• Soft Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple stakeholders.

• Attention to Detail: Ability to meticulously review plans, specifications, and construction activities to ensure accuracy and quality.

Working Conditions:

• Site-Based Role: This position requires working on construction sites in TASHKENT.

• Travel: Occasional travel may be required to meet with stakeholders, attend meetings, or visit other project sites.

• Hours: Flexibility to work outside standard business hours as needed to meet project deadlines.
