We’re excited to expand and open a local Intrepid Travel office in Tashkent, Uzbekistan – and you can be a part of this fantastic core team!

As a General Manager for Intrepid Travel Uzbekistan, you will handle the following:

Responsibilities:

• Effectively lead the ground operations in Central Asia and implement long-term strategic plans.
• Manage the day-to-day business of our upcoming Intrepid Travel office in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
• Develop new business, assure trip profitability and boost revenue.
• Ensure sales growth and elevate the Intrepid brand in our key markets and destinations in the region.
• Provide great leadership, and be instrumental in developing a high-performing team.

Requirements:

• Experience with managing Ground Operations in Central Asia
• Strong knowledge of the Central Asia region and Travel industry
• Middle level management experience with the ability to build and develop teams
• High level of financial literacy and excellent decision-making ability
• Excellent communication skills in English and local language (both written and verbal)
• Proven understanding of risk and incident management
• Experience in tourism or an operations, sales and customer-focused industry

Conditions:

• Ability to travel to and work on-site in our upcoming office in Tashkent, Uzbekistan
