Обязанности:

• Strategic Leadership

• Develop and implement the university’s IT strategy aligned with institutional goals.

• Lead digital transformation initiatives to improve academic and administrative processes.

• Establish policies, standards, and procedures for IT governance, data security, and system integration.

• Operational Management

• Oversee IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, hardware, and software systems.

• Ensure reliable and secure operation of the university’s IT systems and services.

• Manage IT support teams and ensure timely resolution of technical issues.

• Monitor system performance, implement upgrades, and maintain high service availability.

• Cybersecurity & Data Management

• Ensure data protection, cybersecurity, and compliance with relevant national and international standards.

• Develop disaster recovery and data backup plans.

• Conduct regular security assessments and risk management reviews.

• Academic & Research Support

• Provide IT solutions to support teaching, learning management systems (LMS), and research platforms.

• Collaborate with academic departments to identify and integrate new educational technologies.

• Leadership & Team Development

• Lead, mentor, and evaluate IT staff performance and professional growth.

• Foster a culture of innovation, service excellence, and accountability.

Требования:

• Education:

• Master’s degree (or higher) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Experience:

• Minimum 7–10 years of progressive experience in IT management or administration.

• Proven experience in managing large-scale IT infrastructure and digital transformation projects.

• Experience in higher education or research institutions is a strong advantage.

• Skills and Competencies:

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

• Excellent knowledge of IT governance, networking, cybersecurity, and systems administration.

• Experience with ERP, LMS, and database management systems.

• Fluency in English (knowledge of Uzbek and/or Russian is an advantage).
