Juru is looking for a proactive Head of People to help us manage and grow our team of technical consultants and engineers. The successful candidate should be passionate about working with people, helping them be effective in their role and reach their potential within the firm. Responsibilities include managing staff hiring, staff development, performance evaluation, compensation, and benefits packages. Our current HR systems comprising grading, performance evaluation, benefits, compensation, L&D, recruitment, and onboarding were designed for a smaller organization. We need you to re-engineer them for our current scale and beyond. This is a leadership role with a strong initial focus on optimizing our HR systems. You'll have the opportunity to shape our processes and make a real impact on our growing company.

Job responsibilities:
Perform a complete review of the existing HR practices and system and identify key gaps with the lens of long term vision of the firm;
Develop a new, holistic HR system in conjunction of the Productivity Lead and other Management team members;
Review HR related guidelines and procedures in accordance with international best practice, in the relevant industry, and Uzbekistan/Kazakhstan labour laws;
Develop step by step HR/HRD plan in close collaboration with the management;
Identify and plan the company’s recruitment needs and manage the hiring process to ensure it runs smoothly and effectively;
Manage employee onboarding, prepare staff development plan, staff performance evaluation, compensation plan, etc.;
Develop strong rapport with the management to orchestrate various HR initiatives;
Maintain close contact with Business Units and team heads to stay up to date with evolving needs of the various practice areas;
Ensure all employee records are maintained and updated with new hire information or changes in employment status;
Respond to employee queries in a timely and professional manner;
Maintain organizational charts and detailed job descriptions;
Stay up-to-date and comply with changes in labor legislation;
Define and champion cultural values by implementing HR tools and policies to foster a diverse and inclusive workplace, enhance employee engagement and wellbeing;
Manage a small team of 2-3 HR.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education in Business Administration, Management, Human Resources, or any other relevant field;
Highly skilled in HR, business administration, or management roles and tasks;
Strong understanding of the Organisational Development, Recruitment, Talent Management, Compensation and Benefits, Training and Development and Employee Motivation;
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Russian; Uzbek and other languages are beneficial;
Highly adaptable, ability to learn fast, emotional maturity, capacity to plan and execute ambitious programs, ability to think laterally and in an integrated manner (design thinking);
Experience with Google Suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets) and task management tools such as Asana is a plus.
Experience in developing and/or restructuring the HR system is a plus

Employment: Full time
Work schedule (typical): 9 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, Saturdays are flexible
