Responsibilities:

1) Respond to IT support requests from students, faculty, and staff via phone, email, or in person.

2) Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.

3) Provide support for university systems, including LMS (e.g., Canvas), email, and SIS.

4) Assist with password resets, account setup, and access permissions.

5) Document technical problems and solutions in a ticketing system.

6) Train users on basic system functionalities and IT tools.

7) Maintain and troubleshoot university-owned computers, printers, and other devices.

8) Escalate complex issues to higher-level IT staff or external vendors when necessary.

9) fulfills the tasks of the immediate supervisor in a timely and appropriate manner

10). Ensure all support requests are resolved in a timely and efficient manner.

11) Stay updated on university IT policies, procedures, and new technology initiatives.

Job requirements:

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Work experience not less than at least 1–2 years of experience in IT support or a related field, preferably in an academic environment.

Knowledge and Skills:

1. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

2. Excellent communication and customer service skills.

3. Familiarity with Windows, macOS, and common software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).

4. Basic understanding of networking concepts (Wi-Fi, VPN, etc.).

5. Experience with ticketing systems and remote support tools is a plus.

6. Proficiency in English, Russian, and Uzbek is required to effectively communicate with a diverse university community.
