Key responsibilities will be the following:
Greet and welcome prospective students, families, and guests upon arrival.
Provide general information about the admissions process, campus services, and scheduled events.
Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting reception area.
Coordinate with admissions counselors to ensure timely and seamless visitor appointments.
Assist in the preparation and distribution of admissions materials and welcome packets.
Support campus tours by organizing group logistics and managing check-in procedures.
Manage visitor scheduling tools and maintain accurate visitor logs.
Provide light refreshments and accommodate special requests as needed.
Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Assist with special events such as open doors and information sessions.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or office administration.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Friendly, professional demeanor with a commitment to high-quality service.
Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and comfortable learning new software.
Dependable, punctual, and organized.
Preferred Skills:
Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
Familiarity with higher education admissions processes.
Experience working with diverse populations.
Working Conditions:
Must be available to work during normal office hours, with occasional evening or weekend hours during special events.
May require standing for extended periods and light lifting for event setup.
