Internship Program (Investment Development)

Uzbek-Oman Investment Company is an international investment company operating in Uzbekistan since 2010. We strive to achieve long-term capital growth, contribute to the economic development of Uzbekistan, and play a key role in strengthening strategic and economic ties between Sultanate of Oman and Uzbekistan.

UzOman is announcing 3-month paid Internship Program in Investments Department with the opportunity of getting a full-time position during or after completion of the program.

During the Program you will:

• Enhance analytical and investment skills.
• Be exposed to a broad range of industries and company types.
• Have an opportunity to actively interact with the company’s experienced professionals.
• Participate in negations in interesting investment opportunities.

Who can apply:

• 3rd-4th year Students or Graduates of Bachelor’s degree in finance (economics or related fields).
• Experience in a related field is a plus.
• Genuine interest in finance and investment analysis.
• Knowledge of Uzbek, English language (fluently) and Russian.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Results-oriented person, ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Full-time availability.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide support to senior team members regarding initial investment review and screening of prospective investment opportunities as well as tracking of the investment pipeline.
• Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis used to support underwriting of potential investment opportunities.
• Perform extensive analysis of target financials, market position and competitive landscape.
• Create detailed financial models, investment analyses, and valuation models to support evaluation of investment opportunities.
• Participate in key meetings with related parties, and provide input to the DD process.
