SATashkent is a leading educational institution in Central Asia, known for helping students achieve top scores in SAT, GMAT, and other university admission exams. As part of our goal to build world-class digital tools for students and educators, we are expanding our internal product team. We are now looking for junior developers eager to work on meaningful and scalable tech solutions in education.

Role Description

We are hiring a Junior Frontend Developer (React + TypeScript) to join our team full-time and on-site at our Tashkent office. This role is perfect for an early-career developer with a solid foundation in React who is ready to learn, grow, and contribute to high-impact products.

Note: The first 1–3 months will be a trial period to evaluate performance and fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain responsive web applications using React and TypeScript
• Implement UI features and manage application state using Redux Toolkit
• Work with RESTful APIs, handling asynchronous data fetching
• Style components using CSS-in-JS or preprocessors like SCSS
• Optimize components using memoization and proper effect dependencies
• Collaborate with backend developers, designers, and QA
• Write and maintain basic tests using Jest or Cypress
• Use Git for version control and collaborative development

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of React and TypeScript fundamentals
• Familiarity with Redux Toolkit and state management concepts
• Experience with CSS-in-JS or SCSS
• Understanding of asynchronous JavaScript and working with APIs
• Basic experience with Git and version control workflows
• Awareness of React performance optimizations (e.g., memo, useMemo, useCallback)
• Basic testing knowledge with Jest or Cypress
• Strong attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a collaborative team environment
• English B2
