We’re looking for a PHP developer (Crawler Fixer), the role within our development team, focused on maintaining and enhancing our data crawling capabilities. This entry-level position is perfect for someone with a foundational understanding of PHP and HTML, who is eager to dive into the mechanics of web crawling and data extraction.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

• Monitor and troubleshoot our web crawlers to identify and resolve issues preventing data collection.
• Analyze and understand website structures to accurately fix pathing issues within our crawlers.
• Update and maintain crawler configurations to ensure optimal performance and data accuracy.
• Stay updated with the latest in web technologies and crawling strategies to continuously improve our processes.

WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Basic knowledge of PHP.
• Understanding of HTML and web page structures.
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently on troubleshooting tasks.

ARE THERE ANY OTHER REQUIREMENTS?

• The team is US-based, so fluent English is essential
• Fully remote position, but you must be able to work at least 6-8 hours in US time zone
