About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Power BI Developer with strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel to join our team. This role will be pivotal in transforming raw data into actionable business insights through interactive dashboards, custom reports, and data modeling.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design BI solutions, and automate reporting processes. This position requires a combination of analytical mindset, technical proficiency, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, publish, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for internal and external stakeholders;
• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources (Excel, SQL databases, cloud services);
• Design and optimize Power BI data models, queries, and DAX expressions;
• Create interactive reports with drill-down and filtering capabilities;
• Collaborate with business teams to gather and analyze requirements and translate them into technical solutions;
• Maintain automated Excel reports, dashboards, and pivot tables using advanced formulas, Power Query, and VBA (optional);
• Ensure data accuracy, security, and performance optimization in reports;
• Provide training or documentation for users on BI tools and reporting processes;
• Troubleshoot and support Power BI and Excel reporting issues.

Qualifications:

Must-Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Mathematics, or related field;
• 2+ years of experience working with Power BI and Excel in a business intelligence or data analytics role;
• Strong knowledge of DAX, Power Query (M Language), and data modeling techniques;
• Proficiency in advanced Excel functions, pivot tables, charts, and data visualization;
• Experience with SQL or similar data querying languages;
• Ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with Power Apps, SharePoint, or Microsoft Power Platform;
• Familiarity with cloud-based data sources (Azure, Google BigQuery, etc.);
• Experience in financial modeling, forecasting, or operational dashboards.
