The Product Owner/Product Development Manager for Cash Loans will lead the development and management of cash loan products within the retail banking team. This role will involve full ownership of the product lifecycle, including product development, profitability modeling, and financial analysis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that cash loan products are competitive, meet customer needs, and are financially sustainable. They will also analyze the current performance of the product and assess the financial impact of decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Product Ownership

• Lead the end-to-end management of cash loan products, from concept to execution.
  • Ensure alignment with overall business strategy and customer needs.
  • Work with cross-functional teams (e.g., Marketing, Risk, Compliance, Operations) to ensure successful product development and launch.

Product Development

• Design and develop innovative cash loan products and features to meet market demand.
  • Continuously enhance product offerings based on customer feedback, market trends, and competitive analysis.
  • Collaborate with IT, Operations, and other departments to ensure seamless implementation and delivery.

Financial Analysis & Profitability Management

• • Develop and maintain profitability models for cash loan products.
  • Conduct regular financial analysis to evaluate product performance and profitability.
  • Monitor key financial metrics (e.g., margin, NPV, IRR) to assess the impact of business decisions.
  • Prepare financial forecasts and scenario analyses to guide decision-making.

Market & Competitive Analysis

• Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, customer preferences, and competitor offerings.
  • Adjust the cash loan portfolio to remain competitive and capture market opportunities.

Stakeholder Management

• Act as the main point of contact for cash loan products within the organization.
  • Engage with senior management, branch managers, and external partners to ensure product success.
  • Provide regular updates and reporting on product performance and financials to leadership.

Key Qualifications

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. Master’s degree is preferred.

3+ years of experience in retail banking, preferably in product management or financial analysis roles.

Proven experience in managing cash loan or credit products.

Strong understanding of financial analysis, profitability modeling, and performance metrics.
