• Post Title: Project Manager/Construction Director

  Location of the Assignment: Tashkent, Uzbekistan

  Reports To: CEO

  Expected Date of Joining: 1 August 2024

Requirments:

- At least 10 years of experience in construction management of thermal power plants, particularly in combined cycle power plants;

- Fluency in English;

• WBS: Overall Project Management

  Under the supervision of the Project Director (CEO/GD), manage the overall engineering, construction, installation, and commissioning of the asset until the commercial operation date.

  The objective is to deliver the asset in line with the Zero Harm objective, within the approved budget, required quality, and agreed timetable.

  Prepare with the support of the COO the handover of the asset to the Asset management team at the PPA execution dates.

  KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

  Execution:

• Actively support and apply the Project Health and Safety policy and procedures to achieve Zero Harm.
• Provide leadership and a personal commitment to achieving Project Health and Safety objectives.
• Plan for construction activities (including related logistics) and ensure constructability reviews of the design are carried out at all stages
• Ensure in coordination with EPC and Legal support all permitting and authorizations will be delivered on time
• Input construction and logistics constraints into the project execution plan including the schedule
• Ensure proper quality control is exercised on all construction activities and checks as carried out as per inspection plans before constructed parts are hidden
• Ensure that worker mobilization is properly planned including visa and administrative requirements
• Responsible for the delivery of the asset, within the approved budget, schedule, quality, and project specifications
• Supervise and coordinate all the design, construction, and installation-related contracts (the EPCI Contracts, “consent” equipment, local base & accommodation, and all related services contracts) from a technical, legal, contractual, and commercial perspective
• Ensure interfaces between packages are managed operationally, including synergies for logistics, establishing segregated work areas, and clarifying physical interfaces,

• KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

• In charge of interfaces with UzTransGas, NEGU for technical matters
• Ensure that major risks associated with project construction and commissioning are managed
• Responsible for coordinating permitting (EPC/Owner)
• Ensure that the construction resource plan is in accordance with objectives and project need
• Responsible for the interface and day-to-day relationship with all the stakeholders
• Provide appropriate reporting to the Project Director (CEO/GD) as per Project procedures on construction progress and issues
• Chair the Technical Committee
