Central Asian University is seeking a skilled QA Specialist (Middle–Senior Level) to lead quality assurance across digital products. The role focuses on manual testing with growth into automation, mentoring junior QAs, and ensuring high product standards in a fast-paced tech environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and lead the QA process across web, mobile, and backend products.

• Perform manual QA: write test cases, conduct exploratory and regression testing, validate bugs and releases.

• Collaborate closely with developers, PMs, and designers to ensure early QA involvement.

• Define and enforce QA standards, workflows, and test documentation.

• Improve and manage test plans, test cycles, and bug reporting processes.

• Contribute to basic automation testing (API, UI flows) and support automation strategy development.

• Mentor junior QA engineers (currently 3), review their work, and guide them toward full-stack QA maturity.

• Promote a strong quality culture within the team and support continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience in manual QA for web and mobile applications.

• Strong hands-on testing skills: test case design, exploratory testing, bug reporting, release readiness.

• Familiarity with QA tools: Jira, TestRail, Postman, Swagger, Charles, DevTools, ClickUp, Figma, etc.

• Solid understanding of SDLC, API testing, and basic automation frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Selenium, Playwright).

• Exposure to agile product teams and QA in cross-functional environments.

• Degree in Computer Science, QA, or Engineering is a plus, but not mandatory.

• Basic knowledge of scripting or automation tools — or a strong desire to grow in this direction.

• Strong mentoring skills — supportive and helpful with junior team members.

Desirable

• Experience in healthtech, AI-driven products, or regulated environments.

• Exposure to QA process design or automation strategy.

• Multilingual: English (required), Uzbek and Russian (preferred).

• Experience working in remote/hybrid teams.

Working Conditions:

• Work schedule: 5/7, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

• Salary: Negotiable based on the candidate's knowledge and experience.
