A leading international manufacturer of food ingredients — recognized globally in its segment — is expanding operations in Central Asia by opening a sales branch in Tashkent. The branch’s mission is to strengthen the company’s market presence in Uzbekistan and neighboring countries.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Performance: Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets within the assigned territory through effective distributor management and market development.
Distributor Management: Strengthen partnerships with existing distributors, ensure alignment with the company’s commercial strategy, and resolve operational issues.
Territory Coverage: Maintain a strong presence across the assigned region through frequent field visits, client meetings, and distributor support.
Client Development: Assist distributors in acquiring and retaining key B2B clients (e.g. bakeries, food manufacturers), providing product availability, technical support, and brand engagement.
Reporting & Forecasting: Deliver accurate and timely sales reports, market feedback, forecasts, and competitor insights to the regional manager.
Pricing & Compliance: Ensure all commercial activities comply with the company’s pricing policy, contract terms, and ethical standards.
Cross-functional Coordination: Collaborate with internal departments (marketing, supply chain, finance, customer service) to ensure smooth sales operations and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
Experience: Minimum 3 years in B2B food ingredient/product sales. Experience in large companies or projects is a plus.
Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Uzbekistan food market; experience with bakery or confectionery sectors is a plus.
Skills: Strong skills in sales management, supply chain coordination, volume planning, negotiation, and pricing.
Languages: Fluent in Uzbek, Russian, and English.
Education: Higher education in economics, business, marketing, food technology, or a related field.
