We are looking for Senior Golang Engineers to design and develop high-performance microservices as part of a cross-functional, agile team. You will play a key role in building scalable, high-quality software solutions that support the core platform, working closely with Product Owners, Front-End Engineers, Designers, and Business Intelligence teams.

Essential Functions:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Go

• Ensure high performance, reliability, and security of applications in production

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features

• Take ownership of the architecture, design, and development of back-end services and systems

• Build event-driven systems using technologies like Golang, Kafka, and PostgreSQL

• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following best practices

• Participate in code reviews, provide mentorship to junior engineers, and contribute to continuous improvement

• Gain a strong understanding of the client’s core product and architecture
  Support and mentor team members and contribute to knowledge sharing

• A minimum of 6+ years of back-end development experience with Golang
• Solid experience working with containerized applications (e.g., Docker)
• Practical experience in TDD, BDD, DDD, and distributed system design
• Background in event-driven architecture using RabbitMQ and/or Kafka
• Experience with relational and search databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch)
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services
• PHP experience is a nice-to-have
• Familiarity with e-commerce or subscription-based businesses is a plus

Additional requirements:

• English - Upper-Intermediate or higher (comfortable in customer-facing communication, preferably at least C1)

• Remote start: you will begin working fully remotely for the first 6-7 months, with transition to a hybrid format afterward.
• Flexible working hours for the first 6-7 months (core working hours: 8:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. (GMT+5). The remaining 5 working hours can be completed flexibly before 8:00 p.m. (GMT+5)). After that period, standard working schedule(5/2, 8 hours per day from 9:00 till 18:00 or either 10:00-19:00, yet it will be upon agreement with the client)
