This role has its focus in the areas of providing sound legal advice, managing external legal counsel, dispute avoidance and resolution as well as drafting, reviewing and negotiating of varying types. Our vacancy will be of interest to lawyers who already have good work experience, are confident in their skills and want to try themselves in independently conducting cases.

Responsibilities:

• Legal expert in Uzbekistan law area;
• Provide legal support and assistance in the negotiations for and drafting of contracts;
• Provide trusted, prudent and proactive legal expertise to the business which is pragmatic rather the purist;
• Liaise with external legal counsel on outsourced legal matters;
• Advice on Uzbek law regulatory changes and legal developments.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years in jurisprudence in Uzbekistan, we give preference to candidates from consulting or similar field of activity;
• Fluent English is required.

Conditions:

• The main place of work is not in Tashkent, please pay attention to this. We are ready to compensate for relocation and are happy to meet you halfway if you need to move with your family;
