EMOTIV (located in Jizzakh, but work can be remotely) announces a vacancy:

Position: Software engineer / Shopify Developer Job responsibilities:

- Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify and Shopify Plus stores.

- Implement new features, enhancements, and integrations using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Shopify APIs.

- Optimize site performance, loading speed, and mobile responsiveness.

- Collaborate with designers and account managers to turn mockups and business requirements into functional, high-quality stores.

- Debug and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure optimal site performance.

- Manage third-party app integrations and custom API connections.

- Stay current with Shopify platform updates, best practices, and eCommerce trends. - Participate in code reviews, QA testing, and version control management (Git).

Candidate requirements:

- 2+ years of experience developing Shopify and Shopify Plus stores.

- Proficient in Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and jQuery.

- Experience with Shopify theme customization, app integrations, and REST/GraphQL APIs.

- Strong understanding of responsive design, UX principles, and SEO best practices. - Familiarity with version control (Git) and collaborative development workflows.

- Experience working with JSON, AJAX, and Shopify metafields.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

- Nice to Have experience with React, Next.js, or Headless Shopify setups.

- Familiarity with Shopify Hydrogen and Oxygen.

- Knowledge of Google Tag Manager, Analytics, or Klaviyo integration.

- Basic understanding of conversion rate optimization (CRO) and A/B testing.
