• We are seeking a highly experienced local professional to serve as Site/Project Manager for major 500kV and 220kV Overhead Transmission Line (OHL) projects in Uzbekistan. The ideal candidate will be a Uzbekistan national with extensive field-based experience on large-scale high-voltage transmission line construction projects.

  This is a strategic role requiring strong leadership, on-site decision-making, and familiarity with local construction practices, regulatory environments, and terrain-specific challenges.

  Key Responsibilities:

  Project Execution & Site Leadership

  Lead the on-ground execution of 500kV & 220kV OHL construction works across multiple sites in Uzbekistan.

  Ensure all site activities are carried out as per project schedule, technical drawings, and safety guidelines.

  Local Team & Subcontractor Coordination

  Manage and coordinate local construction crews, subcontractors, and support staff.

  Supervise erection, stringing, tower assembly, and associated civil works (foundations, access roads, etc.).

  Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Compliance

  Enforce strict compliance with Uzbekistan HSE regulations and international safety standards.

  Ensure site teams follow permit-to-work systems, electrical safety practices, and proper PPE use.

  Quality & Technical Supervision

  Conduct daily and weekly inspections to ensure construction meets engineering standards and quality benchmarks.

  Resolve technical issues in coordination with engineering teams and QA/QC personnel.

  Project Reporting & Stakeholder Liaison

  Maintain daily site logs, progress updates, and issue reports for the head office and clients.

  Act as the primary on-site contact for local authorities, community liaisons, and regulatory inspections.

  Candidate Profile – Local Expert (Uzbekistan):

  Nationality: Must be a citizen of Uzbekistan.

• Minimum 12–15 years of hands-on experience in high-voltage (220kV/500kV) OHL projects in Uzbekistan or Central Asia.

  Proven leadership of site-based construction activities, especially tower erection, stringing, and civil foundation works.

  Education:

  Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering from a recognized Uzbek university or equivalent institution.

  Technical Skills:

  Deep understanding of OHL tower types, foundation systems, conductor stringing methods, and construction sequencing.

  Familiar with local terrain challenges and best practices for remote area logistics and resource planning.

  Language Proficiency:

  Fluent in Uzbek and/or Russian (mandatory).

• Basic English is a plus point (mandatory).

  Certifications:

  Valid local licenses and construction certifications.

  Safety and quality training certifications (OHS, HSE, etc.) are preferred.
