  • 1. Accounting and Finance:

    • Oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the RO office, including bookkeeping, invoicing, and payments.

    • Prepare periodic management accounts in accordance with local accounting standards.

    • Ensure compliance with Uzbekistan’s tax regulations, including VAT, corporate tax, payroll tax, and other applicable taxes.

    • Coordinate with external auditors and tax authorities during audits and financial reviews.

    • Manage the budget, cash flow, and financial forecasting to ensure efficient use of RO office funding.

    • Implement and monitor internal financial controls to prevent fraud and mismanagement.

    • Prepare and submit periodic financial reports to the head office as required.

    2. Human Resources Management:

    • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with local labor laws.

    • Handle payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely payment of salaries and deductions.

    • Maintain employee records, including contracts and performance evaluations.

    • Address employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and grievance handling.

    3. Compliance and Administration:

    • Ensure that the representative office complies with local regulations and reporting requirements.

    • Liaise with government authorities and regulatory bodies on matters related to finance, labor, and legal compliance.

    • Support the Country Director/Regional Manager with strategic planning and decision-making processes.

  • Key Requirements:

    Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

    Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and HR management, preferably in a representative office setting.

    Language Skills: Proficiency in English, Russian, and Uzbek is highly desirable.

    Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).

    Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of Uzbekistan’s tax laws, labor regulations, and HR best practices.

    Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
