Role overview
We are hiring an experienced Staff Accountant to independently manage client accounting cycles, deliver high-quality reporting packages, and support audit and year-end processes in a deadline-driven environment.

Duties:

• Ensure accurate and timely record keeping and reporting for assigned clients on a monthly/quarterly basis
• Preparation of monthly/quarterly financial statements and supporting workpaper packages, partner/investor allocations/reporting, performance and management fee calculations, etc.
• Year-end financial statements and audit workpaper preparation for independent outside accountants/auditors.
• Handling reports requests from and provide analysis to portfolio managers, research analysts and auditors.
• Special projects as assigned
• Maintain collaborative, positive working relationships within the Company

Requirements:

• University degree in Business, Finance or Accounting;
• 2+ years accounting experience, public accounting or auditing experience is a plus;
• Availability for evening schedule (4:00 PM to 12:00 AM);
• Excellent organizational and time management skills;
• Strong work ethic and emphasis on attention to details;
• Exhibit excellent oral and written communication skills in English;
• Must have strong computer skills (Microsoft Excel and Word) and ability to adapt to new systems;
• Demonstrate an ability to work independently and self-sufficiently;
• Understand the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other team members;
• Strong interpersonal skills;
• Ability to effectively prioritize and handle multiple tasks;
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a deadline driven work environment.
