Description
Ensuring accurate and timely accounting, control of financial transactions, and compliance with local and international reporting standards.

Requirements / Responsibilities:

• Maintaining accounting records in accordance with local legislation and internal company policies
• Reviewing and controlling primary documentation (invoices, acceptance certificates, delivery notes, declarations, etc.)
• Participation in the month-end closing process, including accruals and related-party reconciliations
• Control of accurate transaction posting in SAP
• Preparation of reports (internal and external)
• Control of tax accruals and participation in reconciliations
• Support of audits (internal and external)
• Identification and correction of accounting errors, and proposing process improvements

Qualifications:

• Higher education in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
• Minimum 4–6 years of experience in accounting or financial accounting; experience in international companies is a plus
• Knowledge of local tax legislation and accounting standards
• Understanding of period-end closing and financial control processes
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
• Ability to work with large volumes of data
• Communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
• Proficient Excel skills

Languages:

• Russian – fluent
• English – at least Pre-Intermediate
