Job Summary:

We are seeking a Backend Engineer to develop and maintain secure, high-performance applications that power our banking services. You will work on backend services, integrations, and APIs that connect our systems to various platforms while ensuring reliability, scalability, and security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using .NET / .NET Core frameworks
• Build and consume REST and SOAP APIs for internal and external integrations
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices
• Collaborate with frontend, mobile, and QA teams to deliver complete solutions
• Work with relational databases (MS SQL, PostgreSQL) — write efficient queries, stored procedures, and optimize performance
• Implement security best practices for sensitive data handling and API communication
• Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
• Contribute to architecture discussions and propose improvements

Requirements:

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in professional software development using any modern object-oriented language (e.g., C#, Java, C++, or Python).
• Strong understanding of API design and integration patterns (REST, SOAP)
• Familiarity with asynchronous programming and multithreading
• Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding of software security principles and secure coding practices
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team
