Chief accountant

Our client one of the biggest International FMCG Company is looking for the Chief Accountant.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the accounting department

• Develop accounting and tax policies in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan and IFRS

• Participate in the preparation of internal control system activities

• Monitor the timely preparation of reports on accounts receivable and payable and the company's financial results

• Monitor the external reports

• Develop all types of financial statements and calculate taxable profit
  Conduct work on tax audits, interact with an audit company, tax and customs authorities, as well as other government agencies

• Participate and monitor the inventory process

• Participate in the economic analysis of the company's business and financial activities

• Requirements:

• Higher education in accounting, finance, economics or audit.
• Professional accountancy certificates (ACCA, CPA, DipIFR) will be an advantage.
• Work experience: At least 7-10 years of experience in accounting, including at least 3-5 years in a manager’s position (Chief Accountant, Deputy Chief Accountant, Financial Director, etc.).
• Experience in international companies or large holdings are preferable.
• Deep knowledge of accounting and tax legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
• Practical knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Experience in interacting with tax and government authorities, passing inspections and audits.
• Excellent understanding of the principles of document flow and accounting.
• Fluency in Russian and Uzbek. Knowledge of English will be an advantage.
• Experience in SAP, 1C or other ERP systems.
• Programs for preparing tax and accounting reports.
• Confident use of MS Excel, MS Office
