An international company in energy sector is looking for a CFO (Chief Finance Officer)

Post Title: CFO (Chief Finance Officer)

Location of the Assignment: Tashkent, Uzbekistan

Contract Duration and Type: 43 monthsFixed term

*Based on business and operational needs, the contract duration might be extended for another 6 months..

Reports To: CEO

Direct Reportees: Sr. Accountant and Financial Controlle

WBS: Overall Project Management

In charge of the financial activities in relation to SPV accounts closing and review, cash management, and financial reporting.

Supervise that the appropriate project funding is in place and coordinate relationships with lenders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

Financial control and statutory financial activities

• Manage the Project’s accounting closing processes. In particular, ensure the committed costs logged into the accounting system are updated and consistent, in coordination with the Project Cost Control function
• At each closing, ensure the consolidation and the analysis of the actual balance sheet of the Project
• Review and analyze SPC accounts, perform cost accounting analysis
• Ensure compliance to legal obligations regarding statutory financial requirements
• Prepare all required reporting and KPIs
• Liaise with statutory auditors and partners' finance departments

Cash management

• Analyze the actual cash balance and the cash flow forecast in order to determine amounts to be called and dividend to be distributed

Prepare financial information to be provided to Shareholders:

• On a monthly basis, a cash flow statement for the current month and a cash flow forecast for the next twelve months, an analysis of funding and revenues
• On a quarterly basis, unaudited pro forma balance sheet and profit and loss statement, together with current cash flow statement
• On a yearly basis, the Project’s corporate accounts together with related reports of the statutory auditors
• Prepare other additional information or audits required by the Shareholders

Project Finance:

• Ensure that the appropriate funding is in place for the project, and manage the relationship with lenders
• Supervise the Project Finance Manager

Other accounting and controlling tasks:

• Implement analytical structure in ERP (SAP or equivalent), consistent with breakdown structures deployed by Project Control when required
• Internal services annual rates calculation
• Follow-up internal services invoicing
• Ensure close collaboration work with Project Cost Control and other relevant Project team members
