Cyber Security Specialist

Duties:

• Support the implementation of security controls and GRC frameworks in alignment with regulatory requirements and business objectives;
• Develop, document, and enhance cybersecurity and privacy policies, procedures, and standards in line with local regulations and company frameworks;
• Define and document risk ownership, responsibilities, and business processes related to information security;
• Participate in internal and external audits, including preparation and coordination of audit evidence;
• Handle customer inquiries related to cybersecurity and information protection;
• Work closely with clients to understand security requirements and develop roadmaps for IT/telecom security solutions;
• Support business teams in identifying and resolving security risks and compliance issues;
• Ensure timely closure of risk mitigation actions identified during risk assessments;
• Conduct cybersecurity awareness and training programs for employees and stakeholders;
• Perform additional cybersecurity and data protection tasks as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, IT, Cybersecurity, or related fields;
• At least 8 years of experience in cybersecurity, GRC, or information security roles;
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor are highly preferred;
• Strong knowledge of Information Security Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance (GRC);
• Familiarity with security frameworks and international standards;
• Understanding of local cybersecurity laws and regulatory requirements;
• Experience in security audits, risk assessments, and vulnerability management;
• Knowledge of business continuity and disaster recovery (BC/DR);
• Understanding of data protection and asset security principles;
• Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills;
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills;
• English and Russian — working proficiency (B2 or above); Chinese language is an advantage.

Work Conditions:

• Work in the Tashkent office, near Oybek metro station.
• Working hours: 9: 00-18: 00 (lunch break 12: 30-13: 30).
• Working days: Monday - Friday (5/7)
• Days off: Saturday, Sunday.
• Probation period: 3 months.
• Working language: English (spoken English proficiency required; the interview will be conducted in English).
