Datacom Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, implement, commission, and conduct acceptance testing for network equipment, including switches, routers, firewalls, and other datacom devices.
• Provide timely remote and on-site technical support to customers, diagnose and resolve complex network issues, including service interruptions and equipment failures, to ensure minimal downtime.
• Participate in network planning and architecture design, propose optimization solutions based on business needs, and analyze network performance to improve stability, reliability, and efficiency.
• Prepare technical documentation, including Low-Level Design (LLD), Detailed Design Documents (DDD/DD), Methods of Procedure (MoP), and other project-related documents.
• Collaborate closely with customers, project managers, pre-sales teams, and global support centers to ensure smooth project execution and high-quality service delivery.
• Deliver technical guidance and knowledge transfer to field engineers and customer technical teams.

Technical Skills and Knowledge:
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP and the OSI 7-layer model.
• Good knowledge of IP subnetting, IP addressing, and routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, and IS-IS.
• Familiarity with network technologies such as MPLS, SRv6, and network security solutions, including firewalls.
• Experience with Huawei VRP platforms and Huawei datacom products will be considered a strong advantage.
• Basic scripting or software skills, such as Python, will be an advantage.

Certifications:
• HCIP, HCIE, or other relevant industry certifications will be considered a strong advantage.

Personal Skills:
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and perform effectively under pressure.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in data communication network support, network engineering, or project implementation is preferred.

• Work in the Tashkent office, near Oybek metro station.

• Working hours: 9: 00-18: 00 (lunch break 12: 30-13: 30).

• Working days: Monday - Friday (5/7).

• Days off: Saturday, Sunday.

• Probation period: 3 months.

• Working language: English (spoken English proficiency required; the interview will be conducted in English).
