Обязанности:- Lead the UCC-ACSSW in Uzbekistan by setting strategic direction and ensuring alignment with the mission as agreed upon by the National Agency of Social Protection (NASP), Columbia University, and UNICEF, while complying with local Uzbekistan laws and regulations.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the center, ensuring all activities are in line with strategic directives and effectively address the needs of vulnerable populations in Uzbekistan.
- Serve as the primary local executive, implementing and managing the center’s initiatives and interventions, ensuring they are culturally contextual and meet the specific requirements of the local community.
- Develop and maintain robust partnerships with local government bodies, social service agencies, and community organizations to facilitate effective service delivery, enhance the well-being of vulnerable groups, and support the professional development of social service providers.
- Coordinate closely with the Director of the UCC-ACSSW Unit at CSSW to ensure that local implementations are integrated with global standards and innovations while reflecting the unique cultural context of Uzbekistan.
- Oversee the implementation of research, educational programs, and community engagement projects, adapting them to the local context to maximize their effectiveness and relevance.
- Implement the development and approval of regulatory documents, strategic plans, and operational guidelines in cooperation with local and international stakeholders, ensuring these documents support the enhancement of social services.
- Lead fundraising and resource mobilization efforts to secure the necessary support for sustained growth and the effective impact of the center.
- Provide regular progress reports to NASP, UNICEF, and CSSW, maintaining transparency and accountability in all center activities.
- Lead and manage local staff, ensuring resource allocation is optimized to enhance the center’s impact on community well-being and the professional development of social service providers.
- Advanced degree in Social Work or a related field, with a strong emphasis on practical application in the field of social services.
- Deep understanding of the social, economic, and cultural context of Uzbekistan, especially in relation to social services and community needs.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects and navigate diverse stakeholder environments effectively.
- Strong managerial skills, focused on adapting global initiatives to fit local contexts and needs.
- Experience in grаntwriting and managing funded projects, with a deep understanding of the funding landscape for social work and global health initiatives, crucial for developing sustainable social services in Uzbekistan.
- Demonstrated ability to implement and manage social service programs that are both culturally sensitive and aligned with international standards.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, capable of managing multiple projects and diverse teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt strategies to changing dynamics and challenges.
- Experience with grаntwriting and managing funded projects within the field of social work or community development.
