EHS Engineer

Duties:

• Deliver health and safety training for subcontractors, including H&S awareness and other required programs;
• Conduct construction health and safety inspections, ensuring that all telecom or construction projects comply with EHS standards throughout their duration;
• Participate in health and safety meetings and review construction phase plans to verify that risk assessments, method statements, and lifting plans are properly approved before work starts;
• Investigate incidents, analyze root causes, and prepare detailed reports for management and clients;
• Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures in line with local regulations and company standards;
• Analyze statistical data to identify trends and ensure that risks are effectively mitigated;
• Support all health and safety representatives and ensure continuous improvement and development of the HSE program;
• Conduct internal EHS audits and perform Supplier/Contractor EHS evaluations as part of the sourcing committee process.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (NEBOSH) or equivalent qualification (IOSH certification preferred);
• Minimum 5 years of experience in relevant EHS roles, preferably within telecom or construction industries;
• At least 3 years of experience as an EHS Manager or similar role in a project-based organization;
• Fluency in Russian, English, and Uzbek (Chinese is a plus);
• Experience in developing and delivering safety training sessions and awareness programs;
• Strong understanding of construction and engineering safety (mechanical, electrical, rigging, working at heights, etc.) would be an advantage;
• Excellent communication, presentation, and reporting skills;
• Proven ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
• Strong leadership and team management skills;
• Flexibility to travel between project sites and offices as required;

Work Conditions:

• Work in the Tashkent office, near Oybek metro station.
• Working hours: 9: 00-18: 00 (lunch break 12: 30-13: 30).
• Working days: Monday - Friday (5/7)
• Days off: Saturday, Sunday.
• Probation period: 3 months.
• Working language: English (spoken English proficiency required; the interview will be conducted in English).
