Call for an Event Lead

The IT Community of Uzbekistan is seeking an Event Lead to manage the planning, organization, and execution of our events. This role is pivotal in fostering community engagement, promoting technological empowerment, and facilitating professional development opportunities within the IT sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  - Plan, organize, and execute a range of events including workshops, hackathons, and seminars that align with the IT Community's mission.
  - Collaborate with team members, partners, and sponsors to ensure events are successful and impactful.
  - Adapt event strategies to fit both in-person and virtual formats, ensuring wide accessibility and participation.
  - Lead a dedicated events team, providing direction and support to achieve collective goals.
  - Measure event success through participant feedback and post-event analysis to continually improve future initiatives.
  
  Ideal Candidate:
  
  - Demonstrable experience in event management, preferably within the tech community.
  - Strong organizational and leadership abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  - Excellent communication skills in Uzbek, Russian and English languages.
  - Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and external partners.
  - Willingness to dedicate a minimum of 5 hours per week to ambassadorial duties.
  - Creative thinking with a problem-solving attitude.
  - Commitment to the IT Community's values of diversity, inclusion, and technological advancement.
