We are looking for a Finance Manager to join our team based in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

• Support the company’s growth and objectives with timely, effective decision-making.
• Guarantee compliance with local laws and regulations.
• Facilitate the integration of financial operations with global standards and practices.
• Improve local compliance adherence and decision-making based on solid arguments and data-driven insights.
• Lead a team of 5, promote accountability, communicate expectations, and provide constructive feedback through regular one-on-ones and performance reviews.
• Develop the capacity of the team, deepen their understanding of their roles, and assist with career development.
• Strengthen local compliance through process automation and robust technical expertise.
• Assume accountability through clear ownership of responsibilities.
• Prioritize initiatives to address critical areas.
• Improve the calculation of income tax, WHT, VAT monthly taxes, and other taxes that may affect the company.
• Improve statutory reporting and tax compliance reports.
• Analyze and evaluate the impacts of changes in legal regulations.
• Prepare tax notes for the Company's Financial Statements.
• Coordinate financial statement audit requirements.
• Address inspections and/or requirements of public entities.
• Automate processes such as electronic invoicing.
• Implement local compliance guidelines for inventory and fixed assets.
• Improve tax authority response mechanisms.
• Provide support to new businesses and investments.
• Define the process for the Contracts database.
• Establish good quality service and good working relationships with other centralized teams.
• Represent the company before the tax authority, municipality, or any other public body.

• Senior experience in leading finance teams in an international environment in Uzbekistan.
• Strong communication and leadership skills to navigate across functional and centralized teams, both in a managerial and training capacity.
• Proven experience with process optimization and integration of global accounting standards.
• The ability to consistently demonstrate flexibility and resilience.
• The ability to maintain positive relationships and composure.
• A strong dedication to teamwork and accountability, thrive in evolving and changing environments, and make effective written and verbal communication a priority in all situations.
• The ability to multi-task and meet deadlines effectively.
• Good command / effective operational proficiency in Uzbek and/or Russian and English languages.
• Solid tax knowledge; Financial Accounting; Knowledge of IFRS-US GAAP Accounting Standards.
• Knowledge of Excel at the intermediate to advanced level.
