Job Overview

The Game Development Manager is responsible for fostering the growth of the game development sector in the country and supporting game development startups. The role involves strategic planning, team development, partnership building, and promoting the local game development ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the company’s strategy in the game development sector.

• Support and develop development teams, recruit new specialists.

• Organize and conduct events to promote the company in the game development market.

• Establish partnerships with publishers, investors, and game distribution platforms.

• Attract game development studios to Uzbekistan.

• Attract game development accelerators to Uzbekistan.

• Participate in game analytics and marketing strategy development.

• Prepare reports, forecasts, and analytics for management.

Requirements

• Higher education in management, marketing, computer science, or related fields.

• 2-3+ years of experience in game development or IT.

• Understanding of the game development lifecycle (pre-production, production, post-production).

• Experience managing teams and/or game-related projects.

• Knowledge of trends and technologies in the game development industry, including engines (Unity, Unreal Engine).

• Skills in creating business plans and development strategies for game studios.

• Ability to attract investments and establish partnerships in the gaming industry.

• Negotiation and contract management skills.

• Strong communication and presentation skills.

• Market analysis skills, identifying key trends and promising directions.

• Knowledge of game mechanics, monetization, and business models (F2P, P2P, NFT).

• Proficiency in project management tools (Jira, Trello, Asana).

• Knowledge of game publishing platforms (Steam, App Store, Google Play).

• Fluent in English (Upper-Intermediate or higher).

• Ability to work under multitasking conditions and strict deadlines.
