About the Employer:
Join the dynamic and growing trucking company that values its employees and believes that strong HR processes are essential to our operational success. We are seeking a dedicated HR Manager to oversee and manage all human resources functions at the Company's Tashkent office. This role will focus on supporting local staff, ensuring compliance with labor laws, fostering employee development, and maintaining a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage the full recruitment process, including posting job vacancies, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and onboarding new hires.
- Employee Relations: Act as the main point of contact for employee concerns, resolving conflicts and promoting a positive and collaborative workplace.
- Compliance & Record Keeping: Ensure all HR practices comply with Uzbekistan's labor laws (contracts, benefits, terminations, etc.) and maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
- Performance Management: Implement and manage the performance review process, ensuring regular feedback and support for employee growth.
- Policy Development: Develop and enforce HR policies in alignment with company standards, tailored to the needs of the Tashkent office. Ensure employees are aware of company policies and procedures.
- Training & Development: Identify staff training needs and coordinate development programs to enhance skills and career progression.
- Payroll & Benefits Administration: Coordinate payroll and manage employee benefits, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Employee Retention: Develop strategies to improve employee satisfaction and retention, fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Reporting: Generate HR reports (headcount, turnover, leave tracking) and provide insights to management for decision-making.
Personal Competencies:
- Digital Agility: Proficient in using HR software (e.g., BambooHR) and digital tools to enhance HR processes and decision-making.
- Effective Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to clearly convey information and ideas in both Uzbek and Russian.
- Problem-Solving & Conflict Resolution: Skilled in identifying problems, mediating disputes, and providing fair and timely resolutions that benefit both the employees and the company.
- Leadership & Self-Confidence: Demonstrates confidence in decision-making and has strong leadership abilities to guide and support the HR team and broader office staff.
- Emotional Intelligence: Able to manage interpersonal relationships empathetically, ensuring employee well-being and a healthy work environment.
- Adaptability & Flexibility: Able to adjust quickly to changing priorities, work environments, and business needs, while remaining calm and focused under pressure.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous in handling HR documentation, employee records, and payroll processes, ensuring compliance and accuracy in all HR tasks.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: 3-5 years of HR management experience, ideally in an international company. Experience in recruiting younger staff (ages 20-30) is an advantage.
- Skills:
Knowledge of Uzbekistan labor laws and HR regulations.
Strong communication skills in Uzbek and Russian; English proficiency is a plus.
Proficiency in HR software (e.g., BambooHR) and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
Ability to mediate disputes, build strong relationships, and promote a supportive work environment.
Working Conditions:
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with flexibility to handle urgent issues.
- Location: Office-based in Tashkent.
