Responsibilities:

• Provide mining engineering and design services in accordance with client standards, industry norms and specification for underground and open pit mine studies, such as scoping, prefeasibility, feasibility, detailed design, and NI 43-101 technical reports.
• Undertake techno-economic investigations. Prepare mining equipment specifications and assist with mining equipment procurement.
• Prepare technical specifications based on input received from other disciplines.
• Prepare and contribute to technical memos and reports, within areas of expertise.
• Prepare mining CAPEX and OPEX cost estimates.
• Design mine infrastructures, ventilation systems, backfill systems and mining services.
• Liaise and co-ordinate with the client, project manager and engineers of other disciplines or from other locations to ensure adherence to project and client requirements and specifications.
• Coordinate schedule (time), cost, quality and scope of the Client contracts.
• Assist in developing Client relationships, preparing proposals.
• Self-reliant and easily adaptable to change.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in mining or similar disciplines.
• Minimum of 5-year experience in Mining engineering in open pit or underground mine engineering.
• Professional Registration P. Eng. preferred.
• Exceptional expertise with planning software, preferably Deswik, Vulcan or other.
• Ability to communicate with colleagues and clients in a professional and technical manner.
• Good understanding of mining methods, geology, survey, ventilation, rock engineering, project management.
• Knowledge and experience in JORC code and CIM Standards (NI 43-101).
• Excellent written and spoken communication and presentation skill.
• English and Uzbek language knowledge.
