We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Legal Manager to join our legal team in Uzbekistan. If you are passionate about law and meet the qualifications, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity. Below are the key responsibilities and requirements for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Development:
   • Assist partners in generating new business opportunities.
   • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through effective negotiation and communication.
   • Enhance the legal team's and Company’s visibility in the market.
   • Participate in industry events, conferences, and seminars to represent the Company.
   • Build and maintain a strong professional network within the legal and business communities.
2. People Management:
   • Contribute to people initiatives, including recruiting, coaching, and retaining legal professionals.
   • Build strong internal relationships with team members.
   • Lead and manage junior team members, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
   • Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
   • Keep the team updated on legal developments and best practices.
   • Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
   • Ensure the legal team adheres to the highest standards of professional conduct.
   • Address any ethical issues or conflicts of interest that arise
3. Project Management

• Manage M&A projects, ensuring thorough and accurate analysis.
• Participate in Public-Private Partnership (PPP) and Investment projects, providing legal support and guidance.
• Manage corporate restructuring projects.
• Review, draft, and negotiate contracts and agreements.
• Manage employment projects, including HR Administration.
• Manage corporate related projects, including registration and liquidation of legal entities and representative offices.

Requirements:

• Education: High education in Law. An LLM degree is a plus.
• Languages: Fluent in Russian, Uzbek, and English.
• Experience: Over 5 years of experience in a Big4 or International Law firm.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of corporate, PPP and Investment projects, strong drafting skills, with experience in drafting legal memorandums and contracts. A solid understanding of financial law is a plus.
