In 2018, the team successfully introduced the pioneering neobank, Space, in Georgia. Building upon this success, subsequent efforts were directed towards the creation and launch of the fully digital bank in Uzbekistan, TBC UZ, in 2020. In a significant move towards enhancing its foothold in the Uzbek market, the group acquired Payme, a prominent local payments provider and esteemed brand among the Uzbek populace, in 2023.

Presently, a dedicated team of 1,700 professionals representing 17 nationalities collaborates to advance TBC's international presence. Space International spearheads the provision of cutting-edge technologies and top-tier professional services, while the local teams at Payme and TBC Uzbekistan drive sustained growth and operational excellence.

We are looking for talented individuals with Product Owner experience to join our team

Primary Focus:

• Product Delivery - You will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate development & delivery of technology products throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). This will involve monitoring progress, coordinating tasks, identifying and addressing roadblocks, maintaining quality, and communicating status updates to stakeholders
• Team Leadership - As a Product Owner, you will lead the software development team by promoting open communication, setting clear goals, encouraging collaboration, facilitating agile practices, empowering team members, providing constructive feedback, resolving conflicts, enhancing cross-functional collaboration, and continuously adjusting team processes to promote a productive and healthy environment
• Technical Understanding - You will need a strong understanding of software development processes and technologies. You will collaborate with Product Managers, Solution Architects, and Engineering teams to ensure that the product meets technical and business requirements and is built efficiently.
• Requirement Translation - You will work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable solutions for the development team
• Backlog Management - You will own and prioritize the product teams backlog, breaking down initiatives into epics and user stories to ensure they reflect the most valuable tasks and align with business goals, while preparing them for the development team to drive effective implementation
• Agile Practices - You will facilitate agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning to define clear sprint goals and backlog priorities, daily stand-ups to track progress and address impediments, review sessions to present the progress to stakeholders and Retros to help team improve in overall performance

Qualifications:

• 3 + years of experience in leading IT Development Projects/Products
• Solid experience in the fundamentals of software development best practices, quality assurance protocols, challenges and methodology regarding solution implementation and technical documentation
• Proven experience in successfully leading technical product teams with multifaceted, competing priorities and deadlines, including virtual work teams with members in different geographic regions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Hands on experience of the full SDLC process, from planning to post-production support
• Problem-Solving - Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions in fast-paced environments
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a track record of motivating teams to achieve project goals and enhance overall performance
• Confidence in English & Russian communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, Software engineering (nice to have)
