Key Responsibilities:
• For upstream projects in the oil and gas industry the project control engineering has to be done for the different project phases: such as concept, FEED and detail design.
• Prepare project controls documentation (control philosophies, procedures, resources and organization).
• Prepare the project control philosophy and the best strategy: how the project will be controlled, what level of effort is required and in what areas, what the roles and responsibilities in the project team or external interfaces are involved in supporting the control activities.
• Ensure that cost control and scheduling systems are compatible and are in place.
• Coordinate the implementation of all information and application systems required for the project; interface systems requirements to be addressed as well (Administration, Procurement, Engineering, etc.).
• Prepare project specific project control solutions without supervision in order to meet the project goals.
• Coordinate different project control activities with project engineers.
• Prepare organization, initiation, and follow-up of the project files and documentation, including maintaining the standard project files structure on project server.
• Responsible to oversee all project controls related documents before being issued for Interdisciplinary Check and before submission to Clients.
• Responsible to implement all required project controls related measures to ensure quality at source.
• Train and mentor junior engineers.

Qualifications:
• Academic education to BSc. level minimum in engineering or comparable education.
• At least 7 years of experience in project controls, ideally in the upstream oil and gas.
• Experienced in technical consulting, planning and commissioning and familiar with all phases of EPC Contracts.
• Ability to identify changes and improvements to the technical documentation and procedures to reflect Client’s changing requirements.
• Advanced knowledge of computer based systems including, Primavera P6, Database Management systems, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) or equivalent software packages.
• Advanced knowledge and application of appropriate international and Uzbekistan’s engineering standards.
• Sensitive to Client’s requirements and Client focused.
• Be proactive, a self-starter and ability to work without supervision.
• Systematic thinker and good organizational skills / time management.
• Strong personality with ability to be firm and persuasive without authority.
• Team player within and across functions.
Education: Bachelor degree in engineering is minimum requirement. Master degree preferred
Language skills: English and Russian are mandatory. Uzbek is advantageous
Professional experience: Min 10 years
