In April 2019, TBC acquired a 51% stake in Payme for $5.5 million, valuing the company at $10.8 million. In May 2023, TBC Group Uzbekistan purchased the remaining 49% of Payme's shares, valued at $113.6 million, affirming its leadership in the region's fintech industry.

We are looking for talented individuals with Risk Data Analyst experience to join our team

Primary Focus:

• Collect raw data from various internal systems, external sources, and third-party providers.
• Maintain a centralized database for all credit risk-related data, ensuring it's updated regularly.
• Implement data validation checks to ensure consistency and accuracy.
• Conduct initial analyses of raw data to identify trends, anomalies, or patterns that might indicate potential risks.
• Use statistical tools and techniques to analyze data, ensuring that it's ready for further processing and reporting.
• Conducting A/B testing.
• Collaborate with the Risk Reporting Specialist to provide data that's tailored to specific reporting needs.
• Implement corrective actions to rectify any data inaccuracies or inconsistencies.
• Continuously improve data quality processes to minimize errors in future datasets.
• Liaise with other departments, such as IT and operations, to ensure seamless data flow and integration.
• Provide insights and preliminary findings to senior management, helping them understand the data landscape.
• Work with the Data Engineer to ensure that data storage and retrieval systems are optimized for the team's needs.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in data analysis, credit risk assessment, and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Attend workshops, seminars, and training sessions to enhance data analysis skills.
• Share knowledge with team members and contribute to the team's overall growth and development.
  

Qualifications:

• At least 1 years of experience dealing with large volumes of complex data.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to present complex findings in English and in Russian.
• Excellent SQL skills: joins, sub queries, window functions.
• Excel skills: VLOOKUP, pivot tables.
• Power BI experience would be an advantage.
• Experience working in a retail bank’s credit risk department would be an advantage.

• Ability to meet strict deadlines with excellent follow-up skills.
• Comfortable with a “hands-on” approach and balancing multiple, competing priorities and changes in scope/direction, all with a high sense of urgency and positive “can-do” attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change very quickly with minimal supervision.
