Safety Manager for American Trucking Company

Noor Express is seeking an experienced and highly organized Safety Manager to join our team on-site. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in trucking safety and regulatory compliance to grow with a stable and reputable company. Remote work is NOT available for this position.

Requirements:

• 2–3+ years of experience working exclusively in the Safety Department within the trucking/transportation industry

• In-depth knowledge of FMCSA regulations and safety compliance standards

• Hands-on experience with DataQ systems for challenging violations and managing inspections

• Ability to manage DOT and non-DOT accident claims, file reports, and communicate with insurance providers

• Familiarity with CSA scores and how to maintain/improve them

• Experience working with ELDs, driver logs, and Hours of Service (HOS) compliance

• Strong communication skills to work with drivers, dispatchers, and third-party vendors

• Ability to handle driver onboarding and safety training

• Knowledge of driver qualification files (DQF) and maintaining complete and accurate records

• Proficient in using transportation software systems and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word)

Job Duties:

• Monitor and ensure compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations

• Conduct regular driver training sessions and safety meetings

• Review and audit driver logs and vehicle inspection reports

• Manage accident investigations, process claims, and follow up with insurance agents

• Submit and monitor DataQ disputes

• Maintain up-to-date driver qualification files and safety records

• Prepare for and respond to DOT audits and roadside inspections

• Track and analyze CSA scores, implement corrective actions as needed

• Communicate regularly with the operations team to ensure safe and legal operations

• Identify potential safety risks and proactively develop solutions
