The client is a global food and beverage leader with a product portfolio including 22 brands that generate more than $1 billion each in annual retail sales. Main businesses make hundreds of enjoyable foods and beverages that are loved throughout the world.
This is an opportunity to join the Integrated business planning (IBP) team responsible for Statistical Forecasting & analytics.
Key metrics include Forecast Accuracy and bias. The team works closely with various business units, regions, and functions across multiple domains.
We need a Senior Data Scientist for a team responsible for building and maintaining the client's forecasting engine, deploying statistical and machine learning models, mostly for time series forecasting within integrated business planning and beyond.

Key Requirements:

• Deep experience with time-series models (arima), classical ML (XGBoost, LGBM, CatBoost, Prophet), deep learning models
• Experience with time-series data analysis: seasonal trend decomposition algorithms
• Python, PySpark, git
• Azure cloud (Azure Databricks, Azure DevOps)
• Azure Data Factory (optional)

Nice to have:

• Experience with demand forecasting projects in production in enterprise scale

Team: Core client team in Spain, team members are in Serbia, Poland and India

• Remote start: you will begin working fully remotely for the first 4–5 months, with transition to a hybrid format afterward.
