• Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain complex PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.
• Optimize and refactor existing database code for performance and scalability.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into efficient database solutions.
• Work with large transaction-based financial datasets ensuring high data integrity and security.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes between systems and databases.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related performance issues.
• Collaborate with application developers, business analysts, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Contribute to database design reviews, performance tuning strategies, and architecture improvements.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and regulatory requirements relevant to the fintech sector.

• Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in Oracle PL/SQL development.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle database architecture, performance tuning, and indexing strategies.
• Proven experience in the fintech domain, working with payment systems, core banking, or financial transaction processing.
• Solid understanding of financial data flows, reconciliation, and reporting requirements.
• Experience with ETL development and batch processing using PL/SQL.
• Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and understanding query plans.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git, SVN).
• Ability to write clear, maintainable, and well-documented code.

• Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with Oracle Financial Services products (Flexcube, OBIEE, etc.).
• Knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs for integration with external systems.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance in fintech environments (PCI DSS, GDPR).
• Experience in CI/CD pipelines for database deployments.
