Senior Process Engineer – Aluminium Extrusion

Tashkent region, Chirchik, Uzbekistan

Company Overview:

We are a fast-growing aluminum extrusion manufacturer with four production lines (3 x 1100 tons and 1 x 1500 tons). Our plant is undergoing modernization with a focus on digitalization, automation, and advanced product development. With support from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), we are looking to strengthen our technological expertise and product range.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Senior Process Engineer with strong expertise in aluminum extrusion technology. The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing technological processes, reducing defects, developing new product profiles (including thermal break systems), and preparing the production base for further digitalization and automation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and optimize extrusion process parameters (temperature, speed, die design, etc.)

• Reduce production waste and improve product quality (profile straightness, surface finish, dimensional tolerance)

• Develop and maintain technological documentation and standard operating procedures

• Support commissioning of new tooling, dies, and equipment

• Collaborate with the Automation and Digitalization Department to digitize process parameters

• Train production staff on technological compliance and improvements

• Assist in launching new product series (e.g. architectural profiles, thermal break)

• Participate in raw material testing and formulation of process guidelines for new alloys

Required Qualifications:

• Degree in Metallurgy, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

• 5+ years of experience in aluminum extrusion, ideally on press lines 1000–2000 tons

• Hands-on experience with thermal break profiles, complex dies, and process troubleshooting

• Understanding of European product and quality standards (e.g. EN 755, EN 12020)

• Strong analytical and documentation skills

• English proficiency required; Russian or Uzbek is an advantage

• Experience working in modernization/digitalization projects preferred
