We are looking for a Tax Accountant to join our team based in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

As our Tax Accountant, you will

• Carry out the analysis and preparation of monthly and annual taxes for the group companies, as well as all those tasks associated with the country's tax compliance. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports required internally and/or externally to contribute reliable information to decision making in the company.
• Achieve compliance and determination of taxes according to the legal regulations of the country.
• Contribute to the integrity and accuracy of the company's Financial Statements.
• Work with other functions and teams within the company.
• Carry out procedures on behalf of the company before the tax authorities, municipalities, or any other public bodies.
• Provide calculations of income tax, WHT, VAT monthly taxes and other taxes that may affect the company.
• Analyse and evaluate impacts of changes in legal regulations.
• Submit Statistical reports.
• Review and analysis of accounts.
• Preparation of Tax Notes for Financial Statements of the company and its group.
• Coordination of financial statement audit requirements.
• Attention to inspections and/or requirements of public entities.
• Complies with local tax requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions, in coordination with the chief accountant.

As the Tax Accountant, you already are or have

• Higher education or professional qualifications in finance or accounting.
• Experience in tax accounting.
• Strong communication, analytical, and computer skills.
• Detail-oriented.
• High level of accuracy, efficiency, honesty, and responsibility.
• Motivation and a strong desire to take on new challenges and learn as much as possible.
• Solid knowledge of Tax, Financial Accounting, IFRS Accounting Standards.
• Intermediate or advanced use of Excel.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
• Good command / effective operational proficiency in both Uzbek/Russian and English languages.
