Responsibilities:

• Assist in designing specific training modules or courses, ensuring they meet the needs identified by conducted surveys/assessment.
• Under the guidance of the Chief Specialist and in collaboration with other specialists, facilitate training sessions, workshops, and seminars, using a variety of instructional methods.
• Contribute to developing and adapting training materials, including manuals, presentations, and online content.
• Work collaboratively with the Chief training specialist.
• Work closely with other specialists as well as NASP, Columbia University and UNICEF.
• Provide capacity building and continuing education for social work educators and social service workforce
• Report on the outcomes of training programs and suggest improvements where necessary.
• Conduct follow-up with training participants on the effectiveness of training programs and application of knowledge into their practice.
• Report to Chief Training Specialist on performed work, as well as proposals for future work plan.

Requirements:

• Degree in Education, Social Work, or a related field with a focus on adult education or training.
• Experience in organizing and supporting educational programs, with a comprehensive understanding of instructional design.
• Knowledge of current trends and challenges in social work education, particularly within a multicultural and international context.
• Excellent coordination and facilitation skills, capable of managing educational events and participant interactions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, necessary for effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and other relevant management software.
• Proven ability to produce reports and/or research papers with a good command of social protection issues.
• Fluency in English is an asset.
