NOTE: The position is contract-based and part-time

PURPOSE: To support the formulation and implementation of WIUT’s Marketing and Communications Strategy through SMM platforms and to establish University's online presence and brand value. The post holder will be responsible to develop and enhance the University’s SMM strategy and to promote its social media platforms.

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• To communicate and respond to comments and messages from audience;
• To record, edit and prepare video content as Reels, Vlogs and Stories (mobilography)
• To write creative and engaging texts;
• To develop a content plan;
• To oversee and control social media accounts’ design (cover, profile pictures, layout and visuals, etc.);
• To monitor page analytics and company’s brand image;
• To suggest new ways to promote company offerings and to reach consumers;
• To identify customers’ needs and recommend new topics;
• To work based on brandbook guidelines and to report to Head of Marketing.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

The appointee should be able to demonstrate the following:

Qualifications

• Preferably to hold First degree in Marketing, Journalism, or Communications;
• To be competent and fluent in English, Russian and Uzbek;
• Knowledge of social media ads system;
• Excellent time management and planning skills;
• Strong listening and communication skills;
• The capacity to work independently and collaboratively;
• Identify customers’ needs and recommend new topics.

Experience

• At least 2-year-experience as social media manager;
• Excellent copywriting and editing skills in English;
• Evidence working within teams.

• Highly detail oriented. Excellent at multi-tasking and working under deadlines;
• Mobilography and video editing skills
• A strong sense of creativity;
• Remain fully informed on social media trends;
• Strong communication and presentation skills;
• Strong critical thinking.
