We are looking for Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to join our team

Job Description:

We are seeking a strategic and entrepreneurial Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to build and lead our entire technology division. This is a opportunity to establish our technical vision, strategy, and team from the very beginning. You will be key player in the initial handover and subsequent migration of our core platform, while simultaneously building a tech team from ground up.

This role requires a unique blend of deep technical expertise, inspirational leadership, and a builder's mindset. You will be instrumental in shaping our company culture and ensuring our technology foundation is robust, scalable, and secure, capable of supporting a rapidly growing user base.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy that aligns with our business goals and long-term vision.
• Recruit, hire, and mentor a high-performing technology team from the ground up, including DevOps, Software Engineering, QA, and Infrastructure professionals.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the technology department, ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our platform.
• Establish and champion best practices for software development, including agile methodologies, CI/CD, and quality assurance.
• Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track and improve technical and team performance.
• Manage the technology budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and a strong return on investment.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience as a CTO, VP of Engineering, or in a similar senior technology leadership role, preferably within a high-traffic, consumer-facing digital business (e.g., e-commerce, classifieds, online marketplaces).
• Track record of successfully building and scaling high-performing engineering teams from a nascent stage.
• Demonstrable experience leading a significant platform migration and/or a complex technology handover process.
• Strong technical background with expertise in modern web and mobile technologies, cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure), and scalable system architecture.
• Deep understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate a clear technical vision to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is highly desirable
