The foreign company is searching for an English-speaking Customs Clearance Manager!

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the entire customs clearance process for machinery and equipment, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
• Prepare, review, and submit all necessary customs documentation.
• Communicate with customs authorities, brokers, and logistics partners to ensure smooth clearance.
• Stay up to date with customs laws, trade policies, and tariff classifications.
• Handle duty payments, tax calculations, and ensure cost-efficient import/export operations.
• Resolve any customs-related issues, disputes, or delays.
• Coordinate with internal departments (logistics, procurement, legal) to streamline customs procedures.
• Provide guidance and training on customs regulations to team members when needed.
• Travel within Uzbekistan as required for business operations and customs-related matters.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in customs clearance, preferably in the machinery and equipment sector.
• Strong knowledge of customs regulations, HS codes, import documentation, and trade compliance.
• Fluency in Uzbek, English, and Russian (both written and spoken).
• Availability for business trips to Uzbekistan.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in customs clearance software and Microsoft Office Suite.
