Fleet Manager (US Logistics)

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate a fleet of trucks and drivers operating across the United States
• Monitor truck locations, route progress, and delivery schedules using GPS and ELD systems
• Ensure compliance with FMCSA, DOT, and Hours of Service (HOS) regulations
• Communicate with drivers to provide operational support and resolve issues during transit
• Coordinate maintenance, repairs, inspections, registrations, and insurance renewals for fleet equipment
• Track load statuses and ensure on-time pickups and deliveries
• Maintain accurate records of fleet operations, expenses, and performance metrics
• Work closely with dispatchers, brokers, customers, and drivers to optimize fleet utilization
• Analyze fuel consumption, maintenance costs, and operational efficiency
• Prepare reports and support continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Experience in the US trucking and logistics industry
• Good understanding of FMCSA regulations, DOT requirements, HOS rules, and ELD systems
• English proficiency at Intermediate level or higher
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multitasking environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and transportation management systems (TMS)
• Experience with industry platforms such as DAT, Truckstop, Motive (KeepTruckin), Samsara, or similar tools is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work according to US business hours
