Food and IC/Customer Engineering Specialist, Tashkent

We are looking for Food and IC/Customer Engineering Specialist to join our Tashkent team. You will report to FCW Segment Manager Europe/Customer Engineering Manager CECA and support the maximum amount of new Food and IC Business, through the introduction and implementation of the Food and IC offerings, with focus on Uzbekistan. You will also support the installation and maintenance of AP owned customer installations, work with customer owned vessels on inspection and upgrade.

• Drive the introduction and the implementation of the Food and IC offerings within Uzbekistan;
• Demonstrate within the laboratory and customer sites - present preferred technical solutions from the Food and IC Equipment portfolio to customers;
• Participate in customer installations audits in other segments and to engage in design development and proposals for customer tanks upgrade, liase with customers on topics related to customer installations
• Engage in local reporting tools (SAP etc) to provide transactions in the system and account for customer engineering and cryo segment activities
• Support local sales in the sale of the new developed offerings and to train the sales and engineering teams on the food offerings to allow them to gain the necessary knowledge
• Communicate to/liaise with marketing functions on customer needs and feed-back from the various countries to ensure the development programs are in line with the different countries and market requirements.

As a Food and IC/Customer Engineering Specialist you already are or have:

• Education: Chemical or Food Engineering good technical degree or by experience
• Industry Experience – 2-3 years in Food processes and equipment, chemical industry, oil and gas
• Business Awareness (eg. Cost/Benefit Analysis)
• Knowledge of Health and Safety at work, company and national standards, properties of gases
• Technical understanding and knowledge, preferably in cryogenics
• Good problem solving and creative ability
• Project Management and organizational skills
• Highly developed interpersonal skills : good communication and liaison skills, ability to influence effectively, strong diplomacy
• High degree of flexibility and ready to travel
• Strong communication within the company is required just as a strong project management attitude (towards Sales, Marketing, Customer engineering).
• Languages – Uzbek, Russian, English
