Junior Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our growing logistics company. This role is responsible for managing invoicing, payment collection, and communication with brokers, factoring companies, and partners. The position plays a key role in maintaining cash flow, financial accuracy, and transparency across operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Management of daily invoicing operations through the DataTruck system

• Monitoring and collection of payments, preparation of Collection Reports, and tracking payment due dates

• Analysis of Cash Reserve Reports from factoring companies and resolution of discrepancies

• Professional written and verbal communication with US-based brokers regarding unpaid invoices, deductions, and charge disputes

• Follow-up on overdue invoices and resolution of billing issues

• Maintenance of accurate financial records and supporting documentation

• Optimization of workflows, automation of reporting, and implementation of internal accounting procedures

• Preparation of internal reports for management, including department KPIs

• Ensuring a high level of financial accuracy, transparency, and compliance

• Potential supervision and support of a small team as the department grows

Requirements

• No prior work experience required; candidates with a basic understanding of accounting and strong willingness to learn are encouraged to apply (paid training provided)

• Basic to intermediate understanding of accounting principles

• Strong Excel skills and ability to work confidently with spreadsheets

• Good math and analytical skills

• Clear and professional communication skills (email and phone), including confidence speaking with US partners

• Ability to work night shifts from 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM

• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, operational environment

• Experience in logistics, transportation, or freight billing is a plus, but not mandatory

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
